Key Product Features

The ARS UVR-32 pruning saw has all the professional features that ARS products are known for. The pulse-hardening treated metal means that you’ll get many uses out of your durable blade, providing great value for money.

Sharp, curbed turbocut tooth blade

This professional pruning saw has a tapered, curved blade that helps take the hardship out of pruning. With hard teeth setting, the ARS UVR-32 is rust-resistant, long-lasting and easy to clean. It also makes it easier to cut through any wet or damp wood, so you don’t have to wait long before getting to work.

The curved blade is also thinner in the centre than the top and bottom, meaning that the ARS pruner requires less exertion to cut through wood, reducing friction.

Non-slip plastic handle for comfortable grip

The ergonomically-designed handle has been manufactured so you can comfortably use your ARS pruner for a long time, reducing tiredness and providing slip resistance.

Long pruning blade for a range of projects

ARS UVR-32 pruning saw is a fantastic length that makes it suitable for a variety of garden tasks. The blade alone is 320 mm, providing you with excellent reach when pruning, especially when working above waist level.

Top Tips for Caring for Your Pruning Tools

Keep your ARS tools in top shape with these simple home maintenance tips. Proper care ensures they stay sharp, durable, and ready for every cut, and with ARS’s range of accessories, it’s easier than ever.

Clean After Every Use

  • Wipe down blades with a damp cloth to remove sap, dirt, and plant residue. For sticky sap, use ARS Blade Clean Spray to dissolve buildup effortlessly. Clean tools prevent rust and keep cuts precise.

Dry Thoroughly

  • After cleaning, dry your tools completely with a clean towel. Moisture is the enemy of high-carbon steel, so this step is key to avoiding corrosion and maintaining longevity.

Sharpen with Precision

  • Keep edges razor-sharp using ARS Diamond Sharpeners, designed specifically for our Japanese steel blades. A few gentle strokes at the correct angle (check your tool’s manual) will restore that factory-fresh bite. Sharp tools mean cleaner cuts and less strain on you and your plants.

Oil Moving Parts

  • Apply a drop of light oil to pivot points and springs on loppers and secateurs. This keeps them moving smoothly and prevents wear, ensuring every snip feels as good as the first.

Store Properly

  • Hang your tools in a dry, sheltered spot—think garage or shed—or use a protective pouch. Avoid leaving them outdoors or in damp conditions. Proper storage preserves coatings and prevents rust, keeping your ARS tools ready for action.

Inspect Regularly

  • Check for loose screws, worn parts, or dull blades. With ARS’s full range of spare parts, replacing anything is a breeze—just swap it out and get back to pruning like a pro.

By following these quick and easy steps, your ARS pruning tools will stay in peak condition, delivering professional results season after season. With the right care and ARS’s premium accessories, you’re not just maintaining tools—you’re nurturing a craft.
